As an ancient and staple ingredient in the Yemeni kitchen, this blend can be in several forms, savoury, sweet and for coffee. Each offers a harmonious and distinctly aromatic base to dishes and beverages. It will vary from region to family when it comes to the rich and earthy alchemy. Always a secret.

Earthy, Nutty and Rich. A hint of nutty, bittersweet sharpness with a peppery base. You can really taste the layers of cumin, coriander, turmeric and caraway seeds in the savour.
